Course Description: BTII Institute's (BTII) Comprehensive Project Management Professional (PMP)® Program will help you to begin or advance your career in Project Management. BTII has a very high student-reported pass rate. Many BTII graduates secured high-paying jobs with good employers. The Program Segments are: 1) Practical Application of Project Management Concepts/ PMP Certification Preparation, 2) Mastering the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) Fundamentals, and 3) PMP Test Taking Techniques & Practice. Segment 1 provides a comprehensive understanding of skills needed to excel in a Project Management career using practical examples and cases. You learn to: plan project work; develop schedules, cost estimates, and budgets; plan quality, staffing, and communications; analyze risks; plan procurement; execute work; monitor and control scope, schedule, costs, quality, staffing, communications, risks and contracts; and close the project. In Segment 2 you master Project Management concepts and terminology from the PMBOK® Guide. In Segment 3 you learn to decipher the question types to answer correctly and quickly. You will take and review full length exams and 2000 questions. BTII offers free Project Management Resume Writing, Online Search and Interviewing workshops. To ensure that more students take the exam, BTII will pay the membership-based exam fee of $405 for students meeting these requirements: 1) achieves a 90% average in each of the 3 program Segments, 2) submits the PMP application upon completion of Segment 1, 3) completes the free Job Search workshops and 4) takes the PMI PMP exam within 14 calendar days of program end date.

Course Length: 36.0 days

Course Objective: You will become proficient in Project Management to apply the generally recognized practices of project management acknowledged by the Project Management Institute (PMI)® to successfully manage projects.  .

Target Student: This course is designed for persons who want to become highly effective project managers and take the certification exams.

Prerequisites: Some experience working on projects and/or project teams.
Performance-Based Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be Proficient in Project Management.
